Do I need to pay a copyright collection society or licensing body?

For content covered by the MeloPro catalog, you do not have to handle the usual collection-society management for that playback. Imported content or external sources remain under the user’s responsibility.

Does the certificate cover all the music being played?

No. It only covers content played through MeloPro and the uses provided by the service. If you use other music sources, imports or third-party platforms, you remain responsible for the related rights.

Is the playback certificate official?

Yes, depending on the plan and applicable covered uses. It can be downloaded and presented to justify the relevant MeloPro playback.

Can I change my plan?

Yes. You can move up at any time depending on your needs.

Can I use MeloPro across several locations or zones?

Yes. You can add another business location or an additional playback zone, for example a dining room, terrace, reception area, spa, checkout area or waiting area. An additional location or zone is billed at €9/month.

What is the difference between a location and a zone?

A location is a business site. A zone is a playback area inside a site: dining room, terrace, reception, spa, checkout area, waiting room or another space. Each location or zone can keep its own coherent atmosphere.

Technology & equipment

Do I need specific equipment?

No. A phone, tablet or computer is enough to play MeloPro.

Does MeloPro work without internet?

MeloPro needs an internet connection to start, synchronize content and update atmospheres, messages or campaigns. A stable connection is recommended for professional use.

What happens if the internet connection is lost?

In the event of a temporary outage, MeloPro tries to preserve the experience as much as possible depending on available cache and device setup. As soon as the connection returns, the service synchronizes again.
